NDC CALME

Useful for a wide variety of noise problem.

IT ACHIEVES DURABILITY AND FIRE RESISTANCE

■ Durability

Salt Water Spray Test
(2000h)
Sunshine Weather Meter Test
(2000h)
It is a standardised test method to evaluate
corrosion resistance of materials. Materials
without durability will have corrosion and
rust on the surface.
This test accelerates deterioration and
discoloration in an apparatus that
reproduces the outdoor environment and
evaluate weather resistance.

■ Heat and Fire resistant

Aluminium made it possible to have heat and fire resistance that does not normally found in sound absorbing materials.
● UL file No. R13582
Acoustical aluminium alloy panels, uncoated or coated types A, B or C.
(UL LLC - global safety consulting and certification company in USA)
● A1 in accordance with Euroclass 13501-1
(Classification system for reaction to fire properties in Europe)
● Noncombustible Material Approval Certificate No. NM-9209
(Japanese Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism)

HOW TO INSTALL

You can treat CALME similar to a normal aluminium or iron plate. Attach a base (stud or mold steel) at 300mm pitch and fasten with screws or rivets. We recommend you to have at least 12mm gap from the edge if you drill pilot holes.

An air layer is necessary behind the CALME for effective sound absorption. Make sure to let air goes through the material, by avoiding to adhere it directly to non-perforated surface.
